With GLOW, composer and trumpeter Jakob Helling presents a quartet featuring four distinctive musical personalities from the Viennese scene, which creates musical space for moments of reflection, pause, and the conscious experience of tranquility. At the same time, the quartet questions cultural structures—for example, the conventions surrounding how music is presented in church-like spaces. In this way, the acoustics of the REAKTOR become an invisible co-creator.
