Das Orchestre National d’Île-de-France lädt Komponistinnen und Komponisten ein, an dem unter dem Titel “The Migrant’s Tale” laufenden Kompositionswettbewerb teilzunehmen.

Theme: Write movements of “The Migrant’s Tale” for orchestra
Broadcasting on the French public Radio – France Musique (Radio France)

This 5th competition is opened to composers under 33 years old on January 1st 2017, from any country and enrolled in composition and/or orchestration training program in the European Union within the five last years.

Applicants must write two movements, two minutes each, of a five movements of “The Migrant’s Tale” for orchestra. Applications will be closed on August 22nd 2016.

The selected candidates will compose the three others movements before November 14th 2016.

Jury will be led by Enrique Mazzola, the Music Director of Orchestre national d’Île-de-France and the competition’s patron Ivan Fedele and constituted by composers, members of the Orchestra partners.

The public Finale round will take place on February 2nd 2017 in the Orchestra’s House (Alfortville, Paris district).
