Zum zweiten Mal findet am 18.Jänner 2024 die CIMIx – CREATIVE INDUSTRIES MEET INDUSTRY | THE CROSSOVER EDITION in Wien statt. Die eintägige Veranstaltung, die von ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA, der Export- und Innovationsagentur der Wirtschaftskammer Österreich, veranstaltet wird, verknüpft diesmal die Film-, Musik- und Games-Branchen, wobei der Fokus auf der Zusammenarbeit in Bezug auf Produktion und Vertrieb sowie der Betrachtung übergreifender Themen wie künstliche Intelligenz, Lizenzierung und Export liegt. Daneben soll die CIMIx 2024 ein starkes, speziell auf die Musik- und Audiobranche zugeschnittenes Networking fördern, und so Künstler:innen und Dienstleister:innen aus Österreich und der CEE-Region sowie wichtige globale Partner:innen zusammenbringt. Der Schwerpunkt Musik & Audio umfasst eine Vielzahl von Aktivitäten, die einen spannenden Austausch von Ideen und potenzielle Kooperationen versprechen.
Expanding upon the successful debut of the CIMIx format in January 2023, the upcoming edition will continue to highlight relevant current subjects, uniting companies from the creative industries. CIMIx | The Crossover Edition aims to establish connections among the film, sound, and games industries, emphasizing collaborative efforts in production and distribution formats, alongside the exploration of cross-sector issues like artificial intelligence, licensing, and export. Facilitating an even more global reach, the event will provide simultaneous German/English translations.
Additionally, CIMIx participants will have the exclusive chance to explore prominent production facilities in Vienna on January 19, with the option to choose between the new HQ7 Studios or the distinctive Synchron Stage Vienna. Separate registration will be necessary.
The event is supported by go-international, a joint initiative of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Labour and Economy and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.

Who is this event for?
The core audience consists of Austrian and international professionals from the film, sound, and games industries, including buyers, sellers, producers, developers, rights holders, authors, opinion leaders, distributors, funding institutions, film commissions, creative industries media as well as providers of technical services and new technologies (virtual reality, VFX, animations, etc).
B2B meetings on January 18 & 19, 2024
To facilitate exchanges and foster collaborative projects, designated networking sessions are planned on January 18.
