SOUNDS QUEER? offers 3 Artist Residencies about KINDNESS for a period of 6 weeks between June and October.
SOUNDS QUEER? invites applications from Vienna-based artists, who identify as female, femme, queer, trans, non-binary, agender, intersex, or gender non-conforming. SOUNDS QUEER? specifically welcomes applications from people who experience intersectional discrimination based on ethnicity, country of origin, legal status, mental health, race, disability, working-class background, unemployment, and impoverishment.

ABOUT SOUNDS QUEER?
SOUNDS QUEER? is a Vienna-base collective working on the intersection of electronic music, sound art and queer activism. We share knowledge and tools because we believe that music can create a safer space to exchange experiences and express yourself. A synthesizer can be a feminist spaceship to challenge not only rules in music but also social norms. We organise workshops, collective jams, performances and shows.
