Solo Cantando: Ritual

Ritual brings together new works by Beat Furrer, Claudia Cañamero, and Lorenzo Troiani with vocal music from the Ars Subtilior. Cañamero creates a ritualistic card game for the voice, while Troiani uses table lamps as instruments to generate shifting spaces of light and shadow. Common to all the works is a focus on precisely executed gestures and sounds that coalesce into intense ritual experiences.
