DESCRIPTION:Im Webinar "From STEM to STEAM" (in englischer Sprache) zeigt A
 leksandra Bajde\, wie die Künste die STEM-Fächer (Science\, Technology\,
  Engineering\, Mathematics) bereichern können. Künstlerische Methoden un
 d Perspektiven können eine treibende Kraft für interdisziplinäre Projek
 tteams sein\, um eine gemeinsame Sprache zu entwickeln\, die zu neuen Erke
 nntnissen und Perspektiven führen kann.\n\n"From STEM to STEAM" is about 
 how "STEM disciplines" (Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, Mathematics) 
 can be enriched by the Arts: how artistic methods and perspectives can be 
 a driving force for interdisciplinary project teams to develop a common la
 nguage that at best enables new insights and perspectives.\n\nOur webinar 
 Bridging the Gap with Aleksandra Bajde intends to bring together scientist
 s\, artists and others from the partner institutions of the WTZ Ost and We
 st*. First\, there will be an interactive introductory session on the noti
 on of interdisciplinarity and its potentials followed by breakout sessions
  which will focus on the exchange between participants from different disc
 iplines.\n\nThe webinar will be held in English and is open to a maximum o
 f 12 participants.\n\nParticipants are welcome to suggest ideas to be disc
 ussed during the breakout sessions.\n\nRegistration is open until April 25
 th\, 2023.\n\nAleksandra Bajde is the Founding Director of the Culture and
  Sustainability Lab\, a composer-performer\, lecturer at the mdw and a PhD
  candidate in political science at the University of Vienna. She is commit
 ted to sustainable development\, interdisciplinary and cross-sector collab
 oration\, and social change.\n\nWe look forward to an enriching and collab
