DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe duo VV dissects the sound of the violin. While Pynzenyk
  draws rich textures and tones from the instrument\, Voglsinger uses live 
 sampling to fragment the sounds into an independent musical voice that mer
 ges with the acoustic instrument as an electronic echo. Alyona Pynzenyk is
  a Ukrainian violinist based in Vienna\, specialising in free improvisatio
 n\, contemporary music and performance. She believes that collaboration an
 d interaction between artists is a great source of inspiration\, discovery
 \, self-reflection\, mutual growth and\, moreover\, fun. She actively perf
 orms as a soloist and collaborates with renowned national and internationa
 l contemporary music ensembles such as Klangforum Wien\, NeuRaum\, Schallf
 eld.\n\nStefan Voglsinger (*1986) is a musician\, composer\, and performer
  based in Vienna. He studied drums from an early age\, earned a Master’s
  degree in Music and Movement Pedagogy and later specialized in sound desi
 gn and film music during studies in Cuba. He has toured internationally an
 d is known as an interdisciplinary experimenter working at the intersectio
 n of sound and image. He regularly conducts workshops at universities\, sc
 hools\, and festivals on music\, D.I.Y. electronics and listening—combin
 ing music\, movement\, and technology in playful\, hands-on formats. He de
 velops compositions\, performances and audiovisual installations using sel
 f-built and modified electronic circuits and curates concerts and transdis
 ciplinary events at his artspace Setzkasten Wien. He works at the austrian
  film museum\, curates the sound art festival Klangmanifeste and performs 
 with the vegetable orchestra. Stefan Voglsinger performs outdoors\, integr
 ating environmental sounds and field recordings into his music. He works w
 ith unstable systems\, merging electro-acoustic textures with environmenta
 l unpredictability. His improvisations bring the studio into the field –
  using reamping\, resonators\, and found objects as percussive elements.\n
