SUMMARY:In der Strengen Kammer: Portrait Stefan Voglsinger 'Geschiebe'
DESCRIPTION:\n\nUnderwater recordings\, sine waves and noise generators set
  resonators into vibration. Seyhan spatializes the recordings\, while Vogl
 singer filters and transforms the sounds using open-source electronics and
  analog tape machines. Geschiebe builds on the site-specific work of Trans
 ceiver (Mamka Records MAM07\, 2024) and expands it with an acoustic instru
 mentation that merges with external sound spaces. Composed atmospheres int
 ertwine with field recording textures\, transformed through resonant space
 s and complemented by improvised passages.\n\nStefan Voglsinger (*1986) is
  a musician\, composer\, and performer based in Vienna. He studied drums f
 rom an early age\, earned a Master’s degree in Music and Movement Pedago
 gy and later specialized in sound design and film music during studies in 
 Cuba. He has toured internationally and is known as an interdisciplinary e
 xperimenter working at the intersection of sound and image. He regularly c
 onducts workshops at universities\, schools\, and festivals on music\, D.I
 .Y. electronics and listening—combining music\, movement\, and technolog
 y in playful\, hands-on formats. He develops compositions\, performances a
 nd audiovisual installations using self-built and modified electronic circ
 uits and curates concerts and transdisciplinary events at his artspace Set
 zkasten Wien. He works at the austrian film museum\, curates the sound art
  festival Klangmanifeste and performs with the vegetable orchestra. Stefa
 n Voglsinger performs outdoors\, integrating environmental sounds and fiel
 d recordings into his music. He works with unstable systems\, merging elec
 tro-acoustic textures with environmental unpredictability. His improvisati
 ons bring the studio into the field – using reamping\, resonators\, and
