Zwischen 10. und 21. Februar 2017 findet das IMPULS FESTIVAL bereits zum fünften Mal auf unterschiedlichsten Bühnen und an ebenso zahlreichen Plätzen auch abseits des klassischen Konzertbetriebes in Graz statt.
Es erwarten Sie Konzerte unter anderem mit dem Klangforum Wien, Ensemble Schallfeld, Trio Accanto, von international arrivierten Spitzenmusikern wie auch zahllosen Formationen junger Musiker. Am Programm stehen Uraufführungen unter anderem von impuls Kompositionsaufträgen, die im Rahmen des internationalen impuls Kompositionswettbewerbs vergeben werden, Werke der klassischen Moderne, Neuen und zeitgenössischen Musik, Elektroakustisches und Live-Elektronisches, Formate wie die impuls MinutenKonzerte im Rahmen eines ganztägigen Galerienrundgangs mit Musik oder A Day on Campus and in the City, ein Symposion zu Musik und Film, Podiumsdiskussionen, Vorträge, Komponistengespräche und viele weitere Musikvermittlungsprogramme
… Knapp 14 Tage lang bietet impuls also nicht nur mit seiner Akademie Instrumentalisten und Komponisten aus aller Welt, sondern mit dem impuls Festival auch einem Publikum mit open ears intensive impuls Tage mit zeitgenössischer Musik in Graz – in Theorie und Praxis, Wort und Klang, Diskurs und mit hautnah Erlebbarem.
