Paul Urbanek, born 1964 in Vienna , is one Austria`s well asked virtuoso jazzpiano and keyboard players. His funky , groovy riffs, excellent chord voicings and almost “romantic” melodies are characteristic for his original style in the so called “Wiener Jazzklavierschule” of Joe Zawinul and Fritz Pauer. His actual bands FUNBOARD and ALEGRE CORREA SEXTETT are permanently touring through Europe and Brazil.
